ACTING | ‘MONSTER PIES’ Are Not Scary At All

It’s not every day an invitation lands in your lap asking you to accept a support role in a feature film without even auditioning for it!

But...strange as it may sound...that’s exactly what happened.

The director was casting for his second feature. Think John Hughes and all those great flicks about teenagers from the 80’s.

So I spoke to him on the ‘phone and got some very complimentary feedback about my acting CV. When I pressed for audition details, he said he hated auditioning people ‘cos “it’s such a cruel process”. The rest of the feedback, faithful reader, I’ll save for that beer next time we catch up.

‘MONSTER PIES’ is a great script. Quite a different take and it explores a lot of interesting themes.
