Actor Sean McIntyre has completed filming a key support role as 'Michael' in 'Time Apart', a clever romantic/drama with a sci-fi twist.
Produced as part of the Lean Filmmaking micro-budget feature accelerator program, ‘Time Apart’ is the debut feature film from writer/director Ric Forster (Neighbours, Footballer Wants A Wife) and producer Melanie Rowland (Holding The Man, The Sun and Moon, Vanished, Neighbours Vs Zombies).
When his son Seb vanishes without a trace, Michael spirals quickly into a dark place. Their fractious relationship becomes volatile when Seb reappears just as suddenly and mysteriously.
Filming was scheduled at a diverse range of locations throughout Melbourne during late 2014 and early 2015.
The production team consists of Ric Forster (writer/director) and Mel Rowland (producer).
As a function of the Lean Filmmaking process cast, crew and many supporters of the film attended a screening of the film as a 'work-in-progress' at Loop Bar, Melbourne on 14th March.
Afterwards, the production team handed out questionnaires for audience members to complete providing vital feedback and insights into their experience of the story structure and film narrative and the characters within it.
Early indications are the film is on a firm footing and very engaging viewing.
