MEDIA RELEASE | First Reading Of Sean McIntyre's 'KIDS' at MTC’s Neon Festival Of Independent Theatre

MEDIA RELEASE  | Told through the eyes of seven children drawn from diverse local and ethnic multicultural backgrounds, 'KIDS' delves into pressing issues facing Australian society. It tackles ideas of identity, empathy and migration, exploring Australia’s attitudes to immigration.

'KIDS' takes inspiration from the classic Latin American play 'Juegos A La Hora De La Siesta', by Polish-born Argentinian playwright Roma Mahieu, a critical, subversive and highly political commentary on the Argentinean dictatorship.

A future staged version of this work will be directed by Ivan Rojas. This reading is presented by Jimmy Flinders Productions.
