POST OXFORD | What’s A Few More Blog’s Between Friends?

I like well-rounded stories. I like ‘completeness’. My blog is complete. It’s purpose and existence was to recount the Oxford experience. It has a nice ‘start, finish feel’ about it. So what gives...

I’m not a habitual blogger. It doesn’t come naturally. I’ve tossed and turned about whether to extend the life of this blog. And besides, I don’t know that I can write with the same ‘zing’ of daily, mundane life where lectures, classes, milling and open-mics have ceased to exist except in memory.

My creative endeavours did not begin with Oxford nor will they end there. But my time there is a watershed that I want to look forward from and be proactive about. Having witnessed and been inspired by my Oxford creative-writing alumni, maybe there’s more benefits to a few posts here and there. A little 'writing discipline' will help, not hinder.

Perhaps Oxford anecdotes, post-Oxford stories and Oxford inspired creativity will contribute in some way towards the same.

So, having bounced the idea around with some of you, let’s now go where quite a few men and women have gone before. ‘Space’ – not the final frontier, but ‘cyber-space’. These will be the voyages of the blokey entity known as ‘me’: The Creative Enterprise.

Now. Does anyone know what the star date is?
