Melbourne, Australia | Monday 2nd May 2016

Callumny Films is thrilled to announce that Josephine Croft has joined the cast of The Contract’. Josephine will play the role of MASTON - Senior Political Reporter, The Australian.

This year Josephine will be seen in the much anticipated 2016 release of 'The Legend of Ben Hall', the Australian feature film debut of writer/director Matthew Holmes. 'The Legend of Ben Hall' has a heavy-hitting Hollywood-based writer/director/producer with proven commercial credits - none other than Greg McLean of 'Wolf Creek' fame (who happens to have a common degree of separation in John Jarratt with Quentin Tarantino, just quietly).

An epic Australian western, 'The Legend of Ben Hall' is attracting a slew of outstanding, ongoing media coverage in the United States (check out the obligatory Facebook page for the film. Some articles are drawing comparisons to upcoming release of 'Magnificent Seven' remake with Denzel Washington).

Thanks Josephine for taking on this critical little cameo. Like everyone's, it will grow to be a corker of a role once we achieve a proper, full production. We can already see fireworks between/around the characters of yourself (MASTON), Steph Evison-Williams (ABBIE) and Callan Lewis (DARCEY).
Over coming weeks, Callumny Films will be re-introducing all cast for The Contract’.

ABOUT
| Josephine Croft | showreel
Josephine gained her first role on television at the early age of 15 and since then the highlights of her career include a guest role of Allana Truman in 'Neighbours', the role of Bonnie in of the ABC’s 'Something in the Air', and a cheeky appearance on Police drama 'Rush'. She also toured a professional theatre production of 'Shorter & Sweeter' throughout Australia.

She received a nomination for 'Best Actress' at the USA Movie Maverick Awards for starring in the lead role of a film entitled 'Inanimate Objects'. Her most recent credits include the role of Elizabeth Nelson, in the true story feature film 'The Legend of Ben Hall', Ash from short Science Fiction film 'Telepathy', and VCA films 'Debut', 'Karma Police' and 'Suburban Squeezers'.

Known as feisty, fierce and fun, Josephine is also honest in both performance and personality. She's a hard working actor and is always looking for ways of making her characters genuine and interesting.
